The Session
60 minutes, free. Bring the decision you've already analyzed and still can't make. You'll write from inside a future where it's already made, and we'll see what your brain stops lying about.
Modern Myths
For the person who sees a shift coming but doesn't know what to do with it
One method for turning what you already notice into a decision you can act on.
You leave with your assumptions named, your signal identified, & your first move underlined in your own words.
Two ways in
60 minutes, free. Bring the decision you've already analyzed and still can't make. You'll write from inside a future where it's already made, and we'll see what your brain stops lying about.
30 minutes, free. Not ready to bring a decision? Come ask how this works, why fiction does what frameworks can't, or whether your situation even fits. No prep, no homework, no pitch waiting at the end.
Not sure which? Book the Conversation. If a decision surfaces while we talk, we'll schedule the Session before we hang up.
You notice things before they're named. A product that shouldn't work but does. A headline that contradicts what everyone around you believes. A pattern in your industry that nobody is talking about yet.
The problem isn't that you're missing information. It's that your current tools, frameworks, analysis, strategic plans, are built to organize what's already happened. They can't surface what you're assuming without knowing you're assuming it.
Fiction can. Not because it's creative. Because it bypasses the part of your brain that filters out what seems implausible.
Write yourself fifteen minutes into the future and what comes out isn't imagination. It's a map of every assumption you're already making about where things are going, written down, named, visible for the first time.
Scenario planning is applied fiction. Shell's planners didn't forecast the 1973 oil crisis, they wrote it as a story before it happened, so when it arrived they were executing instead of reacting.
Writing a future as narrative forces you to live inside its consequences instead of estimating them from outside.
That's what we do in a session: not predictions, rehearsals.
A working session. Bring one real decision. We build two or three scenarios around it and see which assumption is doing the most work.
Just a conversation. You're curious about the method and want to talk it through. No decision required.
Both free.
“You're uncovering what you didn't realize you already knew. It was on the fringes. You were there. You just didn't have it in front of mind until now.”
“It gave me more clarity than other exercises I've tried. I wished I'd done this first.”
“You extract hidden motivations that don't get the time of day in goal planning or manifestation. This is a Trojan horse.”
“Once the story is clear, it takes care of itself. There's this subconscious mechanism that leads you down the path, without you having to force it.”
“You were doing what I've been trying to do for the past 30 years, but done so much better.”
I'm Mohammad. I write Modern Myths, a weekly essay series about the stories we mistake for reality.
I spent six years watching fifteen-minute stories surface assumptions that strategy documents couldn't.
I built this session to teach that method deliberately.
It works. That's why I'm offering it.
